Right now I am playing Flying Dragon at the moment for the NES and I am quite shocked to see how much was put into the game. Don’t get me wrong it is no means a perfect game but Culture Brain did put in a decent story, interesting combat system and a nice challenge to it. Expect a review for this and one more game because this will be a 2 part series on YouTube!
Goodness there has been a lot that has been going on and trying to get a review out is madness!!
Superman Returns for the PS2 is something of a hit or miss and really is an easy game to beat. Not only did it take a few hours to beat but it is lacking in content seriously. Its medicore game play and lack of story doesn’t add to the excitement of the game but it does have redeeming qualities but you are going to have to read the review to find out more!!! More Superman games abound!!
You know I can’t really seem to score and Atari game with a number rating, it seems to harsh and for the matter hard. For an Atari game on a 2600, the controls are basic you have one button and a joystick. Some games require you to use the paddle controller otherwise, they are simply controls and really don’t need to be reviewed unless noted. Graphics for these games only start to get better (I mean upgrade) when we get to high end console such as the LYNX and JAGUAR.
What I am trying to say is here is a simple rating system for any and all Atari 2600-7800 games.
- BAD– This game is awful and should be thrown back into the dungeon where it came from.
- HMM– the game is neither good or bad its just there to exist
- OK– The game has some interesting quality to it
- GOOD– You leave beating this game with a sense of accomplishment but you know that you can’t really beat an Atari game or can you…
- GREAT– You can play this game over and over and feel good knowing that you have a great game on you hands.
- AMAZING– The best of the best video games belong here but is there an Atari game worth this score?
Now for any games above 7800 such as LYNX and JAGUAR, I will be using a Number scoring system.
Yes I know that I am a little late getting Atari Month going and believe me I am trying to get back into reviewing games. Alright enough about me and my petty things lets get started!!
First up is ADVENTURE for the Atari 2600 come find out if the adventure is really worth going on!
And for the Second is BREAKOUT for the Atari 2600. Can you break all the bricks in this addictive arcade classic!
Is there an Atari game that you want me to review? Don’t fret! All this month is Atari and I am doing random games from various Atari Consoles! So if you don’t see the game that you wanted reviewed on here go ahead and give me a shout out on the Facebook page, leave a tweet on Twitter or leave me comment below and I will do my best to get it on here!!
I have been building Mobile Suit Gundams for awhile now and really didn’t think that it was a hobby that most people enjoyed. I was wrong, oh so wrong! Not only are there video games based off of Gunpla but there is a massive fan base for it as well! I may have been living in the dark ages for a bit but whoa I think that this one is a decent start as any…
Finally the Symbiote revealed…
Last night the new trailer for Venom came out and a lot of people are excited. Finally we get to see what Sony Entertainment forget to give us in the first trailer: The Symbiote.
Personally I am excited for Venom and looks even better then the first trailer put out. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope for the movie yet.
Venom releases on October 4th 2018 in theaters everywhere.
Another Legend Is Coming Back
It clear to see with all the success that Crash Bandicoot has had with his current remaster that it is evidently clear that something legendary in the hay-day of the original PlayStation has to come back. Enter the Dragon; Spyro! Like that nod, I bet you do. From what the trailer showed, everything from the original has stayed true. Lets hope that the gameplay has been tweaked for the better, from what I remember that even though the controls were OK, the ramming feature was a bit weird.
The trilogy will be a remaster of the first three games and will be “Made from the ground up that will have improved lighting, improved environments, updated controls and recreated cinematics. Activision has promises “full analog stick support with smooth handling”
Insomniac Games is the original developer which is responsible for other game such as Ratchet and clank and the upcoming SPIDERMAN game for PS4. Toys for Bob is handling the remastering of the games with Stewart Copeland’s original soundtrack be remastered as well.
What do you all think about Spyro the Reignited Trilogy? Are you excited? Released Date is Expected to be in September 2018.
Earlier on Metacritic, a new listing of a certain character might show up in The Avengers Infinity War. A certain character that has only appeared in one movie that some may have not like in a fantastic movie…OK I’m not good with keeping secrets so here we go!!
The Silver Surfer has been confirmed to make a cameo appearance in the new Avengers movie! The list has Curt Clendenin portraying the silvery man surfer. But the question to ask is what is his part in the movie? The Silver Surfer was a major character in the Infinity War arc in the comics but it still remains to be seen on if he might be in the background or play a small role. Whit all that out on the plate, There are way to many superheroes on-screen already and adding the Silver Surfer to the mix might be too much. Apparently they already cut Captain Marvel out of the picture and unless they plan to kill every character in the film, who knows whats going to happen. What do you think?
